On the day of the feast of Mid-Pentecost, May 16/29, His Eminence Mark, Metropolitan of Berlin and Germany led the Divine Liturgy at the Gethsemane Convent of St. Mary Magdalene. Archimandrite Roman, Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, Hieromonk Hesychius (Bashirov) and Hierodeacon Amphilochius (Mazur) concelebrated with the bishop. The choir sang under the direction of nun Macaria (Kepke). Abbess Elisabeth (Smelic) prayed in the church.
