Meeting with Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos ӀӀӀ

On Wednesday, April 4/17, Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany was received in the Patriarchal reception room by His Beatitude, Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine Theophilus ӀӀӀ. The head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem (ROCOR), Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), accompanied Vl. Mark. The synodal secretary of the Greek Patriarchate, Archbishop Aristarchus of Konstantin, was present at the meeting. His Beatitude asked the visitors about life in the monasteries of the Mission. Metropolitan Mark spoke about his recent trip to Serbia on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the repose of St. Justin (Popovic). Various issues regarding the military situation in Israel and the global Orthodox Church were also discussed.
