Pentecost on the Mount of Olives

The Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), led the service at the Holy Ascension Convent on the feast of the Holy Trinity. For the service, the temple was decorated with greenery, as is customary for this holiday.
Fr. Roman was co-served by the clergy of the Mission – Archimandrite Innokenty (Sereda), abbot Iona (Galishnikov), Priest Mikhail Volzhansky, and Priest Roman Gultiaev. The abbess of the monastery, Matushka Barbara, prayed together with the sisters and at the Divine Liturgy many pilgrims took communion with the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
