The Chief of the REM Congratulates the Patriarch of Jerusalem on Easter

On Bright Monday, the Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem (as part of the Russian Church Abroad) was present at the Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Church of Sts. Constantine and Helena. After the service, in a solemn procession, His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and all Palestine, along with bishops, clergy and worshipers, headed to the large reception hall of the Patriarchate. There, together with the head of the REM of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeev), Archimandrite Roman congratulated His Beatitude with the greeting “Christos Anesti”. Father Roman presented the Patriarch with personal paschal greetings from the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, Metropolitan Nicholas.
