On November 23, with the blessing of Archimandrite Roman (Krasovsky), Head of Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, students of the REM Sunday school as well as their parents took an active part in a children's Liturgy. It took place at the Holy Ascension Monastery in the chapel of John the Baptist. The service was led by Sunday school teacher, Priest Roman Gultaev. It was especially gratifying to see how the older pupils of the Sunday school served as altar boys, readers, singers in the choir and looked after the younger children. Not so long ago, after the first children's Liturgy, they were just learning the science of serving in the church. And now, 5 years later, they have grown spiritually and are already teaching the youngest students of the school how to help during liturgies.
