Akathist Hymn Sung at the Tomb of the Theotokos

On August 30, the third day of the feast of the Dormition of the Most-Holy Theotokos, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Dorotheos of Avilon, the caretaker of the tomb of the Holy Virgin, the clergy of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission served a moleben with the singing of the Akathist to the Virgin Mary. 

Archimandrite Innokenty (Sereda) led the service. The sisters of the convents of the Holy Ascension, St. Mary Magdalen and the the Holy Resurrection Community of Bethany prayed with their abbesses Mother Barbara (Novikova) and Mother Elisabeth (Smelic) prayed and sang the Akathis Hymn.
