The school year at Bethany Orthodox School for Girls has successfully ended.
On Saturday June 3, 41 girls of the kindergarten classes received their “Tamhidi Diplomas” and graduated to the first grade.
Proud parents, teachers as well as the Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky) attended the graduation program. The graduates sang songs, danced and recited poetry in both Arabic and english on stage at the school auditorium. The school principal, Mother Maria (Wall), handed the diploma and congratulated each girl individually upon receiving their diploma.
After summer vacation all the new first graders are eagerly awaiting classes to start in September.
