The Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky) served the Divine Liturgy for the spring feast of St. Nicholas, the Miracle Worker of Myr Lycia – the day of the patronal feast of the lower church of the monastery of St. Hariton the Confessor. Father Roman was co-served by: Archimandrite Vasily (Druzhinets), Priest Roman Gultiaev and Hierodeacon Gerasim (Kotovsky). Before the Liturgy, Fr. Vasily served the office of the Small Consecration of Water.

The builder of the monastery, monk Hariton (Burov), opened the gates of the monastery and cordially received a group of pilgrims for the celebration.

The weather was not particularly hot, which often happens this time of year, which contributed to the festive mood. This year, the feast was celebrated with a special enthusiasm, since the monastery has been closed for 1 ½ years due to quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

After the service, a modest but plentiful festive meal was offered.
